Bandon started off well and within a few minutes created a few chances .Gavin Shiels crossed from a corner and Clifford Niles headed only to hit the crossbar .Niles got a second chance a few minutes later and put the ball into the Waterloo net minutes later Gavin Shiels passed to defenders and put a second into the left hand corner .

At half time Bandon made one change taking off Adam Casey and bringing on Sean Allen.
Bandon started off the second half like they finished the first. Shiels again put the ball through the middle of the Waterloo defence to Aiden O'Donoghue who tapped it into the right hand corner of the goal away from the Waterloo kepper .Bandon made two more changes Keith Fitzpatrick and Tony Ellis where brought on in place of Jack O'Leary and Clifford Niles in the attack. Bandons Jonathon Mulchay recieved a great ball from Cian mcNamara put the fourth in for bandon. With minutes to go Waterloo defence threaded a ball through to their striker who tried to go around Bandon keeper Don O'Sullivan but was denied from some quick reactions also brought down the Waterloo striker and Waterloo where awarded a penalty and the Bandon goalkeeper dived to his right side but was unfortunate not to save the ball from entering the net .
The game finished Bandon 4 Waterloo 1. All bandon players put in their utmost for the team and got their rewards and will now move on the the next round of the cup

KINSALE 1 6 BANDON
Cup
24/01/10Bandon U-13's played Kinsale in a cup game on Sunday last where they comfortably won 6-1.
Bandon‘s first came after just 5 minutes of play, a well taken goal by Cian McNamara.
Aiden O’ Domoghue got his first of the game less than 10 minutes later and O’ Donoghue scored again just after half time. Within moments of O’ Donoghue’s second, McNamara slotted home to score his second of the tie. With the tie now in the bag for Bandon, O’ Donoghue completed his hat-trick before Johnathan Mulcahy got in on the act to bring the score to 6-0.
Kinsale scored there goal in the last kick of the game as Bandon became too relaxed. All in all though, a very solid performance from the lads who progress to the next round.

PASSAGE 3 3 BANDON
SAT SEPT 12TH
Bandon travelled to Passage to play their first away game on Saturday last
Bandon
got off a great start when Keith Fitzpatrick played the ball across
to Aidan O'Donoghue who hit it first time away from the Passage
goalkeeper to put Bandon in front. Two minutes later Bandons Cain
McNamara played the ball across the goal mouth and Patrick Sullivan taped
it in to put Bandon two up. Passage put on the pressure and before half
time got two back.
Second
half Passage played some good football and
scored again . Bandon never gave up with five minutes to go Aidan
O'Donoghue played a ball across to Cain McNamara who beat two players
and
scored Bandons third. The game finished Bandon three Passage three.
Bandon
were happy with a point away from home.
Well done to Aidan O'Donoghue
and Jonathon Mulachey who were picked for the Kennedy Cup under thirteen
squad.
BANDON 4 2 RIVERSTOWNSAT AUG 29TH
On Saturday August 29th Bandon u 13 school boys league played
there first league game in Bandon town park @10.30 against Riverstown.
Riverstown started off the stronger team and after 10 mins broke through the Bandon defence to put them 1-0 ahead .
Five minutes later riverstown struck again with an error in the
Bandon defence which gave them an og putting the visitiors 2 ahead
Bandon re grouped and when Patick o Suillivan was brought down in the Riverstown box Gavin Shiels took the penalty and scored bringing the
score at half time Riverside 2-1 Bandon .
In the second half Gavin Sheils crossed the ball and the riverstown defender headed the ball in his own net which made the score
2-2.
Bandon kept the pressure on when jack o leary put the ball through
to Aiden o Donoghue who passed two defenders and hit a hard shot for
goal but ,the goal keeper managed to hit it away but Keith Fitzpatrick
who was in the right place buried it home to make it 3- 2 to Bandon.
With 7 minutes left Riverstown put pressure on the bandon backs but couldnt break them down.
When Bandons Owen o Brien played an accurate pass to Jonathan Mulcahy who ran from midfield and passed two defenders and with the
goalkeeper to beat he kept his nerve and rounded him calmly and slotted
the ball into the back of the net making the full time score 4-2 .
